Multi-lingual, multi-racial, multi-complicado.. jagged, blurry, and oftentimes violent, my world is not straight forward or single genre, neither is my work. 

 

I am a multidisciplinary actor and creator that weaves together theater, choreography, bilingual writing and song echoing reflections of a Spanglish Dominican/American/NuyoDominicano upbringing. My work reaches for healing and dialogue around personal and communal traumas experienced within a world actively facing, reflecting, and surviving global colonization and systemic oppressions.

Art and performance is my tool to reflect lived experience, relate to others, activate change and combat ignorance/indifference.
